Another day, another Tophia livestream where the comments came prepared with questions and Tophia came prepared with a rebuttal.
The live started relatively calm with Tophia discussing the heat, saying she had been feeling sick from the 96-degree weather and nearly had to go to the emergency room because she does not handle extreme heat well.
The peace did not last long.
When viewers brought up her spelling and education, Tophia fired back and reminded everyone she has a learning disability.
“We are not in English class,” she said. “If you don’t understand a misspelling, then you must be really stupid.”
The conversation then entered a surprising finance arc, with Tophia explaining the stock market, talking about her father’s experience with stock trading, and saying she believes she has a good eye for investments.
“I think I’m good at that,” she said after discussing stocks and how people can make money through investing.
But the main battle of the night was once again the eternal argument between Tophia and the word “job.”
After viewers questioned why she was not posting more content, Tophia made it clear that she is not interested in creating long videos without payment.
“You got me all the way messed up if you think I’m making content for free.”
She explained that she is waiting to be accepted back into the Creator Fund before posting one-minute videos again and insisted that social media has already proven itself as a career.
“I was making 3K. I made 3K in one month. Why would I need to go get a job?”
The livestream also included another round of Tophia vs. the comment section over her living situation. She explained that she currently has restrictions preventing her from leaving the place where she is staying for a period of time, causing confusion among viewers who noticed she was streaming outside.
“I can go outside and get air. I’m not trapped.”
As the live continued, Tophia defended her finances, saying she pays her own phone bill and storage bill while arguing that many people criticizing her still live under someone else’s roof.
She also revealed plans to work on new merchandise, discussed future DIY furniture content, and insisted she has other plans for making money outside of social media.
The most chaotic detour of the night came when Tophia went from discussing Creator Fund approval to giving a mini lecture on why paying rent is “wasting your money,” arguing that people should think about ownership and rent-to-own options instead.
